Do you install both solid and engineered hardwood?

Yes — both. The right choice depends on your subfloor, moisture exposure and the look you want, and we'll walk you through it at your free estimate.

How long does a hardwood installation take?

It depends on the scope — a room or two is a very different job from a whole home. At your free estimate we'll give you a timeline based on your actual project.

Is leveling the same as structural repair?

No. Ask what the proposed flooring-preparation work addresses and whether another professional is needed for the cause.

What should I photograph before a subfloor assessment?

Show the room and a close view of each affected location, with a simple sketch and notes on what changed and when. Share known leak or repair history, but do not disturb or load an area that may be unsafe. Photos do not replace an assessment.

Hardwood Floor Installation in Norcross, GA

A new surface is a poor starting point when the existing floor feels soft, moves or dips. This Norcross guide focuses on describing those conditions so flooring-related repairs can be separated from issues that need another specialist.

What hardwood installation in Norcross includes

Real wood changes how a home feels. Final Floors sells and installs solid and engineered hardwood across Metro Atlanta — from classic oak to wide-plank and hand-scraped styles. Discuss the installation team and scope during your estimate. This guide applies that work to a Norcross property: separate preparation from structural or moisture work, access and the scope you confirm before the estimate.

Separate preparation from structural or moisture work (Norcross)

The appropriate response depends on the cause and the selected finish floor.

Ask which flooring-related repairs and preparation are included and what remains conditional on removal.
Active leaks, unresolved moisture or structural concerns require the appropriate provider before covering the area.

For a tenant change, protect the handover date (Norcross)

A vacant room can simplify access, but it does not eliminate substrate work or product requirements.

Identify the landlord approver and who can authorize concealed-condition changes.
Confirm material availability, furniture or fixture moves and the flooring system’s return-to-use conditions.
