ATL Rundown · Powered by Final Floors, LLC
Choose commercial flooring with an operating plan.
Instead of declaring one material the winner, build a short brief for the people approving, maintaining and using the space. Exact product specifications and site conditions determine suitability.
ATL Rundown is operated by Final Floors LLC. Project inquiries go to Final Floors, not a contractor comparison marketplace.
Planning for Woodstock. Back to your city project guide
Start with the room, not the sample board
A reception area, private office and rolling-traffic corridor may need different decisions. Record each zone before selecting a product.
- Describe foot traffic, rolling equipment and entrance conditions.
- Identify cleaning methods, spill exposure and maintenance responsibilities.
- Ask for the exact product documentation relevant to the intended use; a residential label does not establish commercial suitability.
Compare the proposed systems on equal terms
Read the Journal's detailed material comparison, then ask each proposal to answer the same project questions. This page is a selection worksheet, not a universal material ranking.
- Record product name, installation system, substrate requirements and transitions.
- Ask how isolated damage would be addressed and whether spare material is part of the plan.
- Confirm maintenance instructions with the actual product rather than assuming every carpet tile or LVT performs alike.
Plan the work around operations
Phasing must be agreed for the actual site. No tool can promise zero downtime from a material choice alone.
- Identify occupied zones, permitted work windows and routes that must remain usable.
- Clarify furniture, fixtures, delivery and other-trade responsibilities.
- Confirm product-specific return-to-use restrictions and who communicates them.
Request an accountable written scope
Send the brief to the flooring team and retain unanswered questions. Approval of appearance is separate from approval of installation conditions.
- Separate removal, preparation, repairs, material, installation and finishing details.
- Name the decision-maker and any building approval process.
- Do not treat a requested window as a confirmed schedule.
