Medical flooring: qualify the space and specifications first.
A reception area, administrative office and treatment space may require different flooring decisions. Final Floors can review qualifying medical or healthcare interior flooring work against the facility’s actual requirements. This is not a claim of clinical certification or approval for every healthcare application.
ATL Rundown is operated by Final Floors LLC. Project inquiries go to Final Floors, not a contractor comparison marketplace.

Identify the rooms and required performance
Describe how each area operates before choosing a product. The facility’s approved specifications and responsible project team should guide the flooring selection.
- Separate reception, offices, corridors, examination or treatment areas in the scope.
- Provide cleaning products, maintenance procedures and anticipated rolling or static loads.
- Supply any required product, joint, edge or transition specifications rather than assuming a residential system will fit.
- Administrative and waiting areas may have different requirements from clinical treatment areas. Compare the facility-approved exact LVT or carpet tile product for the specified room; manufacturer examples do not establish Final Floors qualifications or acceptance for every hospital area.
Obtain the facility’s work restrictions
Occupied healthcare environments may impose project-specific controls on access, work zones, dust, deliveries and scheduling. Provide these requirements before pricing or scheduling.
- Identify the facility contact authorized to approve the work plan.
- List areas that must remain accessible and any approved closure windows.
- Provide the facility’s applicable infection-control or other project procedures; do not assume certification or compliance from generic service copy.
Document preparation and responsibility boundaries
Existing flooring, adhesives, substrate condition and equipment can affect the work. Unknown or potentially hazardous materials require appropriate assessment, not an assumption that normal flooring removal is suitable.
- Confirm removal, substrate preparation, furniture or equipment moves and protection responsibilities.
- Ask how hidden conditions and required specification changes will be approved.
- Agree product-specific cure, return-to-use and cleaning instructions with the project team.
What to send for a medical-space estimate
Share city, room uses, area or plan, photos, specifications, current flooring, operating schedule and desired timing. Send the facility’s vendor and access requirements with the request.
- Identify whether the area is vacant or occupied and who approves materials.
- Do not send patient information; flooring plans and site conditions are sufficient for the initial request.
