ATL Rundown · Powered by Final Floors, LLC
Turn floor symptoms into a useful assessment brief.
A squeak, soft spot or uneven surface is an observation—not a diagnosis. Use this worksheet to describe what you notice and what is still unknown before asking Final Floors about qualifying subfloor or flooring work.
ATL Rundown is operated by Final Floors LLC. Project inquiries go to Final Floors, not a contractor comparison marketplace.

Describe the pattern without guessing the cause
Record where the symptom occurs and what changes it. Do not lift flooring, probe a soft area or enter an unsafe crawlspace just to complete this brief.
- Name the room and an approximate location such as doorway or center of room.
- Separate sound, visible gaps, surface unevenness and movement underfoot.
- Note whether the issue is new, changing or connected to a known leak. Unknown is a useful answer.
Separate flooring scope from other assessments
A flooring request is not a structural inspection or certification. Significant movement, unsafe surfaces or suspected structural concerns need an appropriately qualified provider.
- Do not cover an unresolved cause with new flooring.
- Active leaks, drying and any necessary remediation must be handled by others before flooring replacement.
- Share existing reports if you have them; this worksheet does not replace professional assessment.
Explain the access and retained finishes
The finished surface and access below can affect which assessments and repairs are practical. A matching repair is not guaranteed.
- Identify the visible floor if known, and whether spare material remains.
- Explain furniture, occupied rooms and any building approval requirements.
- Ask what preparation, removal, disposal and transitions are included in the assessed scope.
Use the brief to ask better questions
Copy your observations below and bring them to the conversation. Final Floors confirms service suitability and the agreed scope separately.
- Ask what can be assessed before removal and what remains uncertain.
- Request the repair boundaries and exclusions in writing.
- An inquiry is not a booked appointment or a promise that every symptom can be resolved by flooring work.
