Hardwood Floor Installation in Metro Atlanta
Real wood changes how a home feels. Final Floors sells and installs solid and engineered hardwood across Metro Atlanta — from classic oak to wide-plank and hand-scraped styles. Discuss the installation team and scope during your estimate.
Direct to Final Floors. Not a bidding marketplace. A final quote follows the agreed scope.
We help you choose the right species, width and finish for your rooms and lifestyle, then handle the project from subfloor assessment to the final transition.
Scope to discuss at your estimate
- Free in-home measurement & product consultation
- Solid and engineered hardwood options
- Wide-plank and hand-scraped styles
- Subfloor assessment before installation
- Clean transitions between rooms and flooring types
- Installation by Final Floors
Why Metro Atlanta homeowners choose hardwood
- Genuine wood warmth that shows beautifully in every room
- A long-lasting surface for main living areas
- Wide-plank and hand-scraped looks for modern homes
- Installed by Final Floors
Choose the wood and installation method together.
Solid and engineered hardwood have different installation requirements. The subfloor, room conditions and selected product determine the suitable method. A sample shows color and texture, but natural variation means the finished room will not look identical to one small board. Discuss how the new floor will meet existing rooms, stairs and doors.
What changes a hardwood installation estimate?
- Species, grade, plank dimensions and factory-finished or site-finished material
- Existing-floor removal, disposal and subfloor preparation
- The installation method, layout and material allowance for cuts
- Trim, transitions, stairs and furniture handling
Before the estimate
- Bring photos, approximate room sizes and any product samples you like.
- Point out concrete areas, past leaks, squeaks and uneven spots.
- Explain which adjoining floors must stay and whether the home will be occupied.
- Confirm moving, access and any appliance or fixture responsibilities.
Allow for readiness, not just laying boards.
Delivery, subfloor work and the product's conditioning or acclimation requirements affect the start date. Site-finished floors also need sanding, finishing and return-to-use time. Ask for separate guidance on walking, furniture and rugs, based on the actual finish or adhesive selected.

Three ways to prepare for the estimate
- Gather room dimensions, adjoining-floor photos and product specifications if available.
