Luxury Vinyl Plank & Tile Installation in Metro Atlanta
A wood-look plank or stone-look vinyl tile can change the feel of a room, but the product is only part of the decision. Final Floors, LLC provides LVP and LVT sales and installation for Metro Atlanta projects, with the existing floor, subfloor and daily use considered together.
Direct to Final Floors. Not a bidding marketplace. A final quote follows the agreed scope.
Use this guide to prepare for an estimate and compare the full installation scope. LVT means luxury vinyl tile, not ceramic or porcelain tile. Final Floors does not offer ceramic or porcelain tile installation.
Scope to discuss at your estimate
- LVP and LVT product selection and installation
- Assessment of the existing floor and subfloor preparation needs
- Discussion of removal, disposal and furniture responsibilities
- Planning for transitions, door clearances and trim
- Product-specific installation and care requirements
- A project-specific estimate before work is agreed
Choose for the room, not just the sample.
- Compare the exact product's intended use, wear layer and warranty, not appearance alone.
- Tell us about pets, rolling furniture, frequent spills and direct sunlight.
- For a condo or managed property, bring any sound-control and alteration requirements.
- Check the proposed installation method and whether the existing floor must be removed.
Waterproof plank does not mean a flood-proof room.
Some vinyl products have waterproof surface claims. Those claims do not make the subfloor, perimeter or adjoining materials waterproof. An unresolved leak or moisture problem must be addressed before installation. The exact product instructions govern acceptable substrates, moisture conditions and installation methods.
What changes an LVP or LVT estimate?
- The product and installation method selected
- Room layout, closets, cuts and material needed beyond measured floor area
- Removal and disposal of the existing floor
- Subfloor repairs or flattening and any required moisture-related preparation
- Transitions, trim, stairs, furniture handling and access
Before the estimate
- Share room photos, approximate size and the existing flooring type.
- Point out soft spots, movement, uneven areas and any history of leaks.
- Bring the exact product name or sample if you have already chosen a floor.
- Confirm who will move furniture and appliances and handle any needed disconnections.
What sets the schedule?
Material availability, removal, subfloor preparation and room access all affect timing. Preparation products or adhesives may need time before the next stage. Any conditioning or acclimation requirement comes from the selected product. Agree when each area can be walked on and when furniture can return rather than assuming the floor is ready as soon as the last plank is laid.

Three ways to prepare for the estimate
- Gather the product's installation instructions and room photos.
- Identify existing flooring, transitions and heavy fixtures.
- Confirm flatness, moisture limits and required preparation; waterproof flooring is not flood protection.
